Tout l'été 06:46
Splendor of high noon within the luminous glow of siesta time Everything bathed in gold Passion and innocence Glimmer of dawn on sky and sea, the sacred coolness of caves where nymphs abide Mingling the stars of night with all the morning light Summer's ease wet with dew, whispering sands, languid hues, holding back the season's change Tout l'été Shadowless the days
Decca 05:12
Life, but a mist Is it fleeting, retreating? or has love bloomed, birthing, breathing, giving, seeing that my heart sings eternal But- what is this? Bone and blood, tears mingle with mud. Can rite and ritual bring life? Sing life into our hearts still beating?
Stone Farm 05:27

Kramer’s latest project “Antinous as Osiris” was inspired by two of the most important 20th century literary figures, Marguerite Yourcenar and Langston Hughes. Kramer translates Yourcenar’s exquisite language from her historical novel “Memoirs of Hadrian” and Hughes’ cadence from “Montage of a Dream Deferred” into timeless melodies with lush harmonies and sophisticated rhythmic structures.
